DESIGN WITH A JOB TO DO

Give every page a purpose.

Organise the content around the questions visitors ask and the actions that matter to your business. Use that structure to guide the visual design.

Content people can find

Make the offer, relevant details and next action easy to find on each page.

Shared type, spacing and components

Agree typography, colours, spacing and reusable components so the website feels coherent as it grows.

A practical handover

Define the platform, editing workflow, ownership and maintenance responsibilities before the final handover.

BUILD YOUR PROJECT BRIEF

Choose the pages and features you need.

Outline the project type and content scale. This planner records the starting scope; integrations and build requirements are reviewed separately.

YOUR STARTING SCOPE

Business & service website

6 core pages
  • Responsive page designs
  • Clear navigation and contact journey
  • Service and business content structure

Content readiness

Brand and written content are ready

Request a project proposal

A proposal confirms the deliverables, platform, integrations, revisions, timeline and fees. No project is started by this preview.

A STRUCTURED CREATIVE PROCESS

From the first conversation to the final handover.

Discovery & structure

Review the audience, goals, page map, brand material and the content each page needs.

Visual direction

Develop the type, colour, layout and component language. Review key pages before expanding the design.

Build & review

Implement the agreed scope, prepare responsive layouts and test the important visitor journeys.

Launch & handover

Confirm the domain, hosting and launch checklist. Document the agreed editing and maintenance workflow.

Put the scope in writing. Your proposal should separate design, development, copywriting, photography, licences, hosting and ongoing maintenance. Nothing outside the agreed scope is assumed to be included.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

A website should be clear to use, straightforward to maintain.

  • Responsive layouts: review content and controls on mobile, tablet and desktop.
  • Accessible foundations: use labelled controls, visible focus, readable contrast and semantic page structure.
  • Performance decisions: size media appropriately and review the cost of added scripts and integrations.
  • Editing and ownership: identify who owns the content, source files, licences and publishing access.

Accessibility conformance and performance targets require a defined scope and testing method. Search-engine rankings or business results are not guaranteed.

WEB DESIGN QUESTIONS

Before we start your project.

Does web design include the complete website build?

The project proposal separates visual design, development, content and integrations. Tell us whether you need a design handover, a complete build or both, so the deliverables and platform can be confirmed.

Can you work with an existing brand or website?

Include your existing website, brand guidelines and any content that must be retained. We can scope a redesign or a focused improvement project after reviewing those materials and the current technical setup.

Who provides the text, photos and licences?

That responsibility is agreed in the proposal. You should have permission to use supplied content. Paid fonts, photography, plugins and other third-party licences must be identified separately.

Are hosting, email and maintenance included?

They are separate service decisions unless the proposal explicitly includes them. We can help scope the hosting, domain, email and maintenance requirements alongside the website project.

How long will the project take?

The schedule depends on scope, integrations, content readiness and review cycles. A project proposal should identify milestones, required inputs and the process for changes before a delivery date is agreed.

PLAN THE COMPLETE LAUNCH

Bring the website and its services together.

Tell us about the website you need.

Bring your audience, content and page requirements. We can then define the design, build and handover.
